Quiet lounge
This lounge is situated half way down the lodge and is a quiet place to enjoy our selection of books, magazines and children’s games or just watching the local wildlife through the patio doors that lead out onto the deck and then out to the outdoor pool and backyard.

TV lounge
With its overstuffed sofa’s and large screen cable TV this is the perfect place to relax in front of the log fire set in the large stone fireplace. While here, why not play a game of checkers or just settle into one of the sofa’s and enjoy a good book, a movie or your favorite TV program.

Bar lounge
This is our third lounge area and although it does have a full wet bar we do not currently serve alcohol. We do operate a BYOB so you can still utilize this bar area as it was originally intended.
A large stone fireplace is the centerpiece of this room and a log fire is lit upon request.
Here we also have the ice-machine, a refrigerator and microwave for use of the guests. A TV with video player is also located here so this is the perfect place to socialize in the evenings.

Dining Room
Our large dining room can seat up to 60. It is here we serve our continental and hot breakfasts as well as our evening meals for visiting groups.
Breakfast is normally served between 7:30 a.m. and 9 a.m.
This room looks out over our backyard so you can sit and enjoy your breakfast whilst watching the many varied wild birds, squirrels and chipmunks visiting our birdfeeders (you may even if you are real lucky see the Black Bear that visits us occasionally).

Games Room
Enjoy a game of pool, foosball, pinball or a video game whilst listening to music from our jukebox. For the smaller folk we have a tiny tots play room filled with toys and a TV and video player with a selection of suitable videos.

Indoor Hot Tub
This is a great place for you to relax and unwind after a hard days skiing, hiking or doing any of the many other local activities.
The hot tub is open between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m.
For health and safety reasons we do not allow alcohol, bottles, glassware, food or SOAP in the hot tub or anywhere in the room.
For safety reasons children must supervised by an adult at all times.
It can seat a maximum of 8 people at one time and should be used at the guests own risk due to the high temperatures (between 100°f to 104°f).
People with heart or blood pressure problems should take care when using this facility.
The hot tub may be closed at owner’s discretion at any time.

Children’s Play area and Tree house
Our backyard contains a playground quality children’s jungle gym with a small rock climbing wall. Sit back and relax while your youngsters tire themselves out playing on our jungle gym.
For the older children we have a large tree house hidden in the trees that surround our yard. Or take a walk with them around our clearly marked woodland trail, crossing small streams and climbing on our large rocks.

Outdoor Heated Pool
Our outdoor heated pool is usually open from Memorial Day through to Labor Day (depending upon the weather of course).
It is normally heated to between 80 and 90° making this an ideal place to spend those hot summer days.
It is fully enclosed with child locks on the access gates to keep any unaccompanied children safely out.
We do not have a lifeguard so the pool is used at the guests own risk.

Large Garage
We have a large garage with a workbench and power which we make available for the storage and maintenance of guests mountain bikes during their stay.
The garage is secured every night and unlocked early each morning.
Outside of the garage is a wash area and cleaning equipment is provided for guests use.

Babysitting
Our very trustworthy 14 year old daughter is available to babysit your youngsters while you take some time out for yourselves whether it is to visit one of the fine local restaurants or just watching a movie at the local cinema. We will also be on hand if there is any situation that she has difficulty dealing with.

Vacation Tutorials
Does your child have homework during vacation? Projects? College essays to write or SAT studying? Do they need consistent review in order to retain what they have learned? Through Options In Learning, a local tutorial provider, tutors will come to your lodging at your convenience, before or after skiing, during a lunch break or on the weekends. Professional, highly experienced educators are available to work with students of all ages and with all types of needs. Our special educators can continue with programs sent by your home school, or improvise. We also have all levels of math support, writing and ADD coaches, reading instructors, foreign language teachers and more. Don’t stay home when you could be skiing, boarding or sitting in the hot tub! Your child’s needs can be met even while on vacation.
